Eaton Corp. of Cleveland announced Thursday it is buying the fuel components division of Saturn Electronics & Engineering Inc.
Terms were not disclosed. The division, which employs about 100 people in Oxford, Mich., had 2006 sales of $28 million.
The division makes and sells fuel containment valves designed to help prevent spills in rollovers or other crashes, fuel shutoff valves and fuel tank vapor valves.
The sale is expected to close in the second quarter pending approvals.
